National Certification in both Customer Service and Sales
Overview:
The
National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation developed a successful 120-180
hour sales and service learning curriculum that encompasses the National
Sales and Service Skills Standards infused with the National Functional
Literacy Standards. This comprehensive program should prepare
participants for entry-level retail sales and customer service related
positions and provide support for successful entry and advancement in
service related careers. Students will be presented with Equipped for the
Future skills training and coaching to help prepare them for National
Certification in both Customer Service and Sales.

Common Measures On-Line Tutorial
Overview:
The Department of Labor’s
Performance Enhancement Project offers three new on-line tutorials
providing training on the Common Measures for WIA Adult, Dislocated
Worker, Youth and Wagner-Peyser programs through the Social Policy
Research Assoc. The
tutorials are the subject of
WIA Information Issuance
05-55.

The courses
consist of a series of audio lectures that are streamed directly to
your desktop. The audio lectures are 5-15 minutes long and are
accompanied by PowerPoint slides. Each course module also includes
handouts. We recommend that you download handouts for each module
before you begin the first lecture of that module. |
